Vought Names Scholarship WinnersDALLAS, AUG. 24, 2007 – Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. has announced the recipients of eight higher education scholarship awards of $2,000 each. The recipients, selected from the 40 students who applied, are listed alphabetically by company location: Dallas Grand Prairie, Texas Dezorey Vahed – Junior, University of Texas at Arlington, nursing major (2004 graduate of Mansfield Summit High School, Mansfield, Texas). Hawthorne, Calif. Milledgeville, Ga. Nashville North Charleston, S.C. Stuart, Fla. The 2007 scholarship program is sponsored by Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. and the Nina and Gordon Williams Scholarship Fund. Eligible students must be the spouse, son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter or grandchild of an active Vought employee.
