Overview:
The Marshall Street site in Grand Prairie, Texas, is centrally located in the Metroplex – 10 miles south of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Employees supporting the Marshall Street facility produce large structures for several Boeing commercial aircraft programs.

Products and Capabilities:
The Marshall Street site produces major aerostructures for the Boeing Company that include empennage (tail) sections for the Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft, fuselage (body) panels for the 747 as well as doors and floor beams for the 747 program. Assembly operations of these large structures utilize manual assembly techniques as well as Voughtmatic auto-riveters and two Brotje automation machines.

Site History:
The Marshall Street site was built in 1968. Together with the Jefferson Street facility in Dallas, the two locations were known as the Vought Center. The Marshall Street site is currently occupying its space under a lease agreement with Lockheed Martin. Aircraft structures that have been produced at the facility include empennage sections of the Boeing 747, 757 and 767, Gulfstream V wings, CL601 business jet nacelles, and empennage sections for the McDonnell Douglas DC-10
