The Brea, Calif., facility is located on 20 acres east of Los Angeles. Brea's capabilities include gantry profiling for skins, stringers, chords, and ribs to 120 feet long; monolithic structure matching; and specialized machining for complex wing structures.

Site History:
In 1979, Contour of California (CCI) is established in Brea when assets of Macrodyne’s Macro Division and NEA’s Certified Manufacturing are purchased and combined. In 1996 CCI is sold to The Carlyle Group, which merged the business with Contour Industries of Everett, WA to form Contour Aerospace, Inc. In 1998, Carlyle merged Contour Aerospace with The Aerostructures Corp., operating is as a division of the company. In July 2003, Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. purchased The Aerostructures Corp. Today the Brea and Everett sites operate as Contour Aerospace Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Vought.
