Marine Ace 1st Lt. Ernest A. Powell, Corsair pilot of Memphis, Tennessee with five Jap planes to his credit, was reported missing in action recently. A graduate of Southwestern University, the flier enlisted in June, 1941, winning his wings in June 1942 at Miami.
