F4U-4 IN THE PELELIU HILLS ---- A Marine flown Corsair fighter operating from the airfield on Peleliu completes its' run at a low altitude as it bombs Japanese positions in the hills of the island. The pilots who bombed the Japs on the Five Sisters peaks on the island had a short flight of only 1500 yards from the airport to the target.
