Elias Sarkis is Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc.  He was hired in June 2007 in this newly created position to oversee the development of Vought’s growth strategy and international new business development.

Prior to joining Vought, Mr. Sarkis was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Alcan Rolled Products, whose customers include Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Vought and other industry participants that use aluminum plate and sheet. Previous assignments for Alcan Rolled Products include Vice President of Supply Chain Management, and Vice President of Strategy and Business Development.

From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Sarkis worked for Pechiney – Mass Market Rolled Products in France as the Senior Project Manager of International Development. Earlier in his career, he worked for Kvaerner Metals Davy Clecim in France and held technical industrial engineering positions overseeing facility automation at various international manufacturers in the metal industry.

A French citizen, Mr. Sarkis earned a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Ecole Centrale Lille, France. He has lived and worked in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
