Community Support

Being a good corporate citizen is important to Vought, which is why we support our employees as they give their time and talents to the community. Our employees have a long history of rallying behind projects and programs that help make our communities better.

Our community relations initiatives include:

  • Hundreds of employees raise money for the March of Dimes through its annual walking event -- March for Babies. It is the nation's oldest walking event, raising funds to help prevent birth defects, infant mortality and stem the growing crisis of premature birth.
  • Our annual Vought Can Do! employee canned food drive results in approximately half a million cans of food donated each December to local food banks and other agencies that serve the needy.
  • We actively support many other worthwhile causes, such as the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and Special Olympics.

Volunteerism efforts are supplemented by Vought contributions. We provide a limited amount of donations to 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organizations through our local offices. Most often, these non-profits are supported by the volunteer efforts of our employees and/or retirees.
