Structures Test Laboratory

Structures testing at Vought Aircraft Industries is provided by Test Operations Structures Test Laboratories. These laboratories include several facilities that collectively enjoy an industry wide reputation for outstanding performance and excellence in sturctural verification, qualification, and analysis.

The structures test laboratories are staffed by an experienced team of design, test, and computer engineers and technicians. This team provides the resources necessary to develop project-specific, customer-tailored testing and reporting programs that support a wide variety of products. The laboratories are capable of designing and fabricating test fixtures and tooling, and is supported by an extensive automated test and instrumentation operation.

Through these resources, the Structures Test Laboratories provide testing for:
