Fully reversible thrust in flight

Perform tactical descent.

On-ground continuous operations

Perform engine running operations (ERO).

Both fan and core air reversed

Perform unimpeded ramp loading.

More than 10,000 pounds thrust per engine

Back up a 2-percent grade, fully loaded; land in less than 3,000 feet; and do a three-point turn.

All air directed up and forward

Operate with no ground disturbance.

No engine reingestion of reverse air

Perform continuous operations without engine problems.

Meeting FAA Stage 3 noise requirements

Operate out of commercial airports.
